IQ - The Intelligence Quotient

The term IQ, simply put as test that is designed to measure your general ability to solve problems and understand concepts. This includes reasoning ability, problem-solving ability, ability to perceive relationships between things and ability to store and retrieve informationas compared to the general population.

IQ tests use a standardized scale with 100 as the median score.

Average Intelligence - a score between 90 and 110
Intelligent - Above 130 indicates
Poor or may be Mental Retardation - Score below 70

Children are graded relative to the population at their developmental level.

What do you view intelligence of a person’s as from the below choices:

A. general knowledge
B. ability to learn from experience, solve problems, and adapt to new situations.
C. technical skills
D. ability to perform well on IQ tests
