Creativity in advertising

My friend at work told me about an EPICA awards presented in Europe for creative advertising.
Their aim is to encourage the highest standard of creativity in European advertising and to help agencies, production houses and photographers to develop their reputations across the continent.

The awards are judged by the European advertising trade press; 32 magazines from 23 countries will be represented on the jury this year.

    Rule 1:

    If you stop by my driveway and honk, you better be delivering something, bcos you are not picking up anything

    Rule 2:

    Do not lie to me, I may appear to be potbellied, balding, middle-aged. But on issues relating to my son I am a merciless devil when things go wrong. If I ask you where you are going and with whom, you have one change to tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

    Rule 3:

    The following places are not appropriate for a date with my son. Places where there are beds, sofas or anything softer than wood. Places where there are no parents or nuns within eyesight and darkness too.

    Rule 4:

    Do not touch my son in front of me. You may glance at him so long as you do not sight her below his stomach.

    Rule 5:

    Last but not the least, You may be popular and capable of dating many men, but once you have gone out with my boy you will continue to date no one but him until he is finished with you.

    INDEPENDENCE DAY

    My great nation INDIA celebrates its 58th Indenpendence day (15 AUG 2005)

    On this day, I salute all men and women of India who fought for our freedom and sacrificed their lives to achieve our Independence. Seeding a great vision and an indomitable spirit to achieve India’s freedom on 15 AUG 1947.

    I pray to the Almighty for Unity of Minds and our success in every aspect of life.

    They ask me “who are our role models?” Parents and teachers have to show them by example to live as enlightened citizens. Children also look for role models at national level in different fields. It is now time we create more role models from the present. I suggest that a goodwill and discipline within us can shape the future of our children by becoming good role models.

    India’s history stretches back thousands of years, encompassing enormous diversity in culture, creed, and costume. Approximately 950 million people live in its 650,000 villages, speaking 35 different languages. Yet over half of them live in bad living conditions and need help. We take this moment to join hands for a great cause of this wonderful nation to overcome these hurdles.
